defeated?

defeated yet again another round of olympics go by and we're defeated a-gain.
after 4 years of hardwork, a gazillion years worth of prayers, why do we always end up getting cheated out of victory?
especially during a time when this couldn't come in a better time.
sports. sports is hard sports is fun sports has politics also
those dudes at the sports commission instead of supporting the very few yet determined athletes still manage to squeeze enough corruption that the athletes are left with nothing. why is that? so what if its a hybrid of private and public ownership, isn't there supposed to be some sort of common support needed to give those who are sacrificing so much just for one win?
on a larger scale how can those officials at the wtf.org (tkd) be so full of b.s. and rob our players of true victory? thats just foul. horrid foul.
2012 we've got to turn this around its not right anymore. we can't keep crying victims.

Last Saturday the Skype conference call was a success. Minus the fact we couldn't get our tickets over online sales (bullshit website), I managed to pay in cold hard blood cash 4 tickets to the beautiful Coron, Palawan.
Activities as follows
June 25 - Williams arrives at 5am
June 26 - Arnaub arrives at 10pm
June 27 - some shots should be done
June 28 - July 2 - try our luck surfing at La Union
July 3 - Burbs arrives at night as well
July 4 - 7 - try our luck diving at Coron
July 8 - massage?

I don't know how I'll be able to get back to work after these festivities.

For Easter break, me and my friends went on a trip to enjoy, beer, the sun, beer.
With the caption of "have a beer man" on hand, we thought the next 4 days (close to 5 days) was going to be a breeze. A breeze it was. We had our choice of whatever beach, food, drinks and it was something i was looking forward to for a month.
I jumped the cliffs too. We've been going to this place for years. But since it became such a local attraction, so many bangkas (local boats) carrying foreigners, local tourists to the hot spot and totally ruined the ecosystem of the cliffs. I remember at least 3 years ago, there would be no one at the cliffs but just us taking turns trying to show off who got the best dive. Now it can't be done. Once we hit the water we got bitten by water bugs?? it was really itchy. Tricky thing was, we weren't that itchy til we went to sleep and woke up itching badly. I shouldn't have slept.
But just the thought of how a hot spot can get ruined by those bangkas, trash left by those tourists, chaos left by those people too, which can ruin the water, ruin the rock formation, and ruin well my skin. (how vain) We were attacked by the ecosystem, we can only attack it back by keeping it clean.
But nonetheless, great Easter break, at least we got to taste the good and bad chi.

Earth hour was yesterday, I don't know if it made a difference, but I did turn off everything for an hour (maybe even more).
